Introduction to Collection

    This collection will focus on multiple views both conventional and alternative. The entries in this collection may seem diffuse in some ways as it will encompass a variety of perspectives by examining creativity from afar as well as from within through an insider's look. Within this collection there will also be personal accounts of my own creative process. You may also find reflective musings on the philosophical nature of creativity while other entries will focus on the practical applications and directives of finding and encouraging creativity. The collection will include academic perspectives on creativity from the neurological and physical to the psychological and emotional.

    There are many ways to explore creativity, from inside to outside, sideways to topside. Creativity can come from many different outlets or through a consistent methodical process. Creativity is amazingly amorphous. Creativity can inspire the design of buildings or the creation of a photo. Creativity is the basis of sculpture or the design of a dress. The same creative spirit that makes one person create a film, inspires another to do a sonata.

  Not only will you find essays, you can also expect to see lists and open discussion topics. Interspersed throughout are original works such as poems, stories or songs about creativity.
